It is used for setting the opening pressure and conducting sealing‑performance tests on safety valves of high, medium, and low pressures, as well as for large, medium, and small nominal diameters.

Scope of Application

  • Calibration of high-, medium-, and low-pressure safety valves with a set pressure PS ≤ 32 MPa (optional maximum calibration pressures of 40 MPa, 45 MPa, 50 MPa, 60 MPa, and 70 MPa are also available);
  • Flanged safety valves, DN20–500 mm;
  • ZG'/2"~2'/2" imperial threaded safety valve;
  • Various full-lift and pilot-operated safety valves;
  • Flanged safety valves of various thicknesses and shapes;
  • Commonly used metric and imperial threaded safety valves;
  • Domestic and imported safety valves.

Equipment Features

  • Three‑station pneumatic clamping structure with large, medium, and small diameters; easy and quick to operate.
  • The small‑diameter seat‑clamp foot employs a synchronized, linked eccentric‑disc mechanism, eliminating the need to install a centering pad during calibration. It accommodates various nominal diameters, offering high efficiency, convenience, and speed while conserving compressed air.
  • The medium‑caliber seat features an adjustable clamping mechanism that can be tailored to different calibers and pressures, making it suitable for medium‑ and high‑pressure safety valves.
  • Large-caliber mounts have the following advantages:
    ① Automatic clamping and automatic feed/retract, with a dual‑automatic pneumatic system, ensuring safe and convenient operation.
    ② The large-diameter base has a low center of gravity, with a height from the ground to the work surface of ≤400 mm, which facilitates safe operation.
    ③ The disc-type three‑claw mechanism allows height adjustment to accommodate safety valves with flanges of varying thicknesses.
    ④ Disc-type three‑claw self‑adjusting clamping structure, designed to accommodate the uneven, rough surface of the flange at the inlet of large‑diameter safety valves.
    ⑤ Equipped with a foot‑pedal speed control button, allowing adjustment of the foot‑pedal’s forward and backward speed.
    ⑥ The clamping force can reach approximately 50 tons, ensuring secure clamping of large-diameter safety valves.
  • Dual‑scale display, featuring a four‑range precision pressure gauge switching mechanism that adjusts according to the magnitude of the calibrated pressure.
  • A dedicated low‑pressure calibration system for pressures below 1.0 MPa is provided, making the verification of low‑pressure safety valves more convenient and accurate, while also protecting precision pressure gauges with small measurement ranges.
  • Equipped with an automatic gas pressurization system, it can directly boost medium-pressure gas from 4 to 15 MPa to high pressure.
  • Equipped with a safety baffle for verifying the high-pressure safety valve;
  • All operating valves on the equipment— including calibration valves, relief valves, and pressure‑switching valves—are aerospace‑grade industrial valves.
